The term bouclé—French for "loop"—refers to the delicate, curly loops of pure alpaca that give the yarn its signature texture. The fibers used are untreated, meaning they are only washed and not subjected to chemical treatments before dyeing. This preserves the natural qualities of the fiber, resulting in better texture, shape retention, and an authentic, organic feel.
